Sneaker Soiree Benefitting Girls on the Run

  • Marquette University 1250 West Wisconsin Avenue Milwaukee, WI, 53233 United States (map)

Enjoy cocktails, dinner, great auction items and stay for dancing after our program. The event will be cocktail attire – but feel free to wear your “fun” sneakers! Join us as we raise funds to support and build confidence in our youth, assist our girls on scholarship and showcase how we are making a difference in the community.

We are excited to have as our Guest Speaker, Bonnie St. John who became the first African-American to win Olympic Medals in downhill ski racing at the 1984 Paralympics. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University, won a Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford, and was appointed by President Clinton to the White House Economic Council. She is also the best-selling author of the book “How Great Women Lead – A Mother-Daughter Adventure into the Lives of Women Shaping the World”.
