Description: The Bear Trax and Brownie Shuffle was started in 2009 as a way to honor a dear friend, Nancy Sellars, who was killed by a drunk driver while riding her bike. The race not only brought people to the trails she loved at Lapham Peak, but also raised money for a fund established in her name. This year, the fund will establish scholarships for local high school seniors who demonstrate passion and prowess for both academics and silent sports (running, cycling, triathlon, nordic skiing, snowshoeing and more). It doesn’t get more simple than this: walk / jog / run … drink beer … and raise money for local non-profits!

Join us at 11AM on Saturday, April 22nd at Third Space Brewing! Enjoy a 5k-ish fun run through the surrounding neighborhood, parks, and streetscape. You can walk, jog, run… no one cares. We’ve mapped out an awesome course that starts and ends at the brewery and our guides along the way will make sure you know where to go. Cross the finish line and celebrate!

All participants receive a FREE craft brew, Brewery Running Series Pint Glass, and a goodie bag filled with food and drink specials! Everyone is welcome to stick around and enjoy the day’s entertainment: live music, food trucks, and fun!
